A Few Poems I love by my favorite poet

Okay, so I am just in love with this girls work! I recently came across it while scanning through my emails.
I'm not sure why, and maybe she can answer for me, but she sent them to me in the hopes of me publishing them on my blog.

Well Amanda, guess what! You made it! I loved these poems, they are young, fresh, new, and hip and are written by a 15 year old girl. So they are easily related to younger generations and older generations alike.
Speaking of death, joy, and love, I can easily connect with her work.
She is insanely talented and I hope she goes far! Good luck! I'm your first fan! (I love your name by the way!)

Old Times
These walls I built,
Are crashing to the ground,
These songs I write,
Are nothing more than my frown,
This world I spin,
Is just another lie,
Cause' I can never win,
No, it is never far from goodbye,
Stop it all,

As I am crippled,
You force me to crawl,

These swords are bled,
Stop pretending you know who I am,

Caged In
I need help,
I need you to unlock those doors,
To free me from what I find inside,
To help me escape from my second side,
Scraping as the days go by,

under this skin is a girl who will bleed,
The tiniest poke, the smallest joke,
Will puncture though this crocodile skin,

Oh the world is crumbling now,

Faithful Forever
Oh the rain,
It tumbles down from the sky,
Like tears of heaven,
Throwing lost souls to hell,
Reconcile,
Live for God,
Rain falls for the sorrow of those in pain,
And reminds you of the immensity of our Lord.

Cliffs
Don't run away tonight,
Because you are the only one who understands
what I feel inside,
Mountain blue, rivers change,
But please don't leave me,
Home on the Range,
But where is my home?
Where do I fit?
Once I questioned everything I believe in,
And it made me stronger,
So maybe diving in the oceans,
Will bring us back to day,
So come with me tonight,
Rest your head and lay,
Have no worries, have no fears,
Raining down on you is my own cure,
For what hurts me,
Is what you cannot see.
